MGA to Utilize ClubUp's New Health & Safety Features

May 26, 2020

The Metropolitan Golf Association will implement ClubUp’s new contact tracing technology and employee screening solution at MGA-conducted events and at the MGA’s Golf Central headquarters. ClubUp, an official partner of the MGA, is the leading software and services company that provides innovative services to golf and country clubs. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has developed new features focused on the health and safety of ClubUp’s customers.

“We’re excited to utilize ClubUp’s enhanced platform and new features when our event calendar starts later this summer,” said MGA Executive Director Brian R. Mahoney. “The health and safety of our staff, competitors, volunteers and the communities that we reach remains our top priority in everything we do, and being able to implement both the contact tracing and employee screening as part of our new office and event protocols will allow us to ensure that we are doing our part to help us all move forward responsibly.”

ClubUp provides innovative technology to private clubs and businesses both domestically and abroad. The addition of contact tracing and employee screening to the company’s offering gives ClubUp customers a much-needed solution for a post COVID-19 environment and has allowed for growth outside of the golf industry.

“ClubUp is excited to continue to grow our relationship with the MGA. We have seen recent expansion with our private club business in the northeast and our partnership with the MGA has been a catalyst for that. A number of our private club partners are now using ClubUp contact tracing technology and new customers in industries outside of golf are implementing our solution as well,” said ClubUp Founder Matthew Rose.

In addition to these new features, the North Carolina-based company provides innovative services to clubs, including offering streamlined communications and experience relevant to employment, insurance, payment and other key regulations. ClubUp has been an official partner of the MGA since 2018.
